The Decision Engineering Analysis Laboratory engages in research that creates, develops, and enhances decision-making systems. Supported activities include related principles (e.g., System Analysis) and accepted theories (e.g., Probability Theory, Decision Theory) in various fields as well as specifically chosen disciplines (e.g., Information Science).
